Schmersal’s STS series safety door handle-interlock system consists of a choice of safety interlock switch (with or without solenoid-latching), an actuator key, a door handle assembly (with or without an emergency release handle), mounting plates, and an optional lockout/tagout device. The handle unlatches and opens the guard…thus eliminating the need for additional door handles. When provided with the red emergency egress handle, the system complies with ANSI/RIA R15.06 safety standards.
