Fetura™ is an innovative new zoom imaging system that when integrated with state of the art cameras, delivers unprecedented imaging speed, repeatability and control for the next generation of high-throughput machine vision. Currently available in a 12.5:1 zoom optical configuration, Fetura covers its entire zoom range in <1 second removing the imaging lens as a throughput constraint in automated imaging applications. Self-contained microprocessor and patented lens encoders significantly improve repeatability through closed-loop feedback, eliminating optical backlash and magnification approximations – a significant advance for computer controlled automation and imaging algorithms. The compact design features RS-232 and FireWire connectivity for streamlined camera integration and greater flexibility in driving automated zoom, focus and illumination control functions.
