IRCON Modline 5 fixed-mount infrared thermometers are designed to handle the challenging demands of manufacturing environments with precision and reliability. The new "56-Series" adds a 2 micron range, along with lower temperature capabilities (122–1472° F / 50–800° C) to assist spot weld or induction heat metal treating applications, as well as lower-temperature rubber, thick plastic or textile applications. Incorporating a rugged stainless steel housing, precise-focus optics, and automatic system check features similar to all Modline 5 sensors, the "56-Series" incorporates a new thermo-electrically cooled detector and self-calibration features that assure greater accuracy serving these types of applications.
